Organic cooking: Homemade Granola Bars





Homemade Granola Bars

THE best granola bars I've ever had. Whip these up for the perfect afternoon snack. Just a little sweet and a little salty. Full of yummy, good-for-you stuff. Way better than any store bought granola bar and easy enough to make and have that afternoon.


Ingredients
2 cups organic oats
2 cups crispy brown rice organic cereal
1 cup organic WW flour
3 scoops organic flax powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 organic eggs
1/2 cup organic canola oil
1/2 cup packed organic brown sugar
1/2 cup raw honey
2 tsp vanilla
liberal amount of organic raisins and organic dried cranberries

Directions
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Beat egg in a cup.
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.
Grease a 13x9 pan
Pat the mixture in the pan and bake for 30 minutes


Yum! I'm making a batch of these this afternoon!
